There were so many great moments we photographed at Melanie and Ben’s L’Auberge wedding in Sedona, AZ this past weekend. For starters there was some amazing candid moments between Melanie & her sister. Toasts that talked about some of the craziest stuff I have ever heard. Ben, the groom, overcome by emotion during the ceremony & the classiest first dance we have photographed. Ben & Melanie met us in Sedona last summer for their “interview” with The R2 Studio. They were also meeting another photographer right after us so we left crossing our fingers that they would book us. We were on our way to California for summer vacation so as soon as our meeting was over, we left for Cali and couldn’t stop talking about these two. Robin kept saying “Oh man, I hope they choose us!” About 3 hours later and half way into our drive we got a text from Melanie that said “You win!” We screamed! WOOHOO! It was official and we could not even wait to photograph their Sedona wedding. Fast forward a year. Two incredible engagement sessions, some dinner with wine, a Sedona meet up and a friendship has blossomed. We could not be happier that we got to spend the day with our friends photographing their L’Auberge Sedona wedding. And here it is in all its amazingness.
