“What a wonderful experience. Heart of Sedona and Rev Murphy were simply superb from the very first email through to the wedding day itself. We both cannot speak highly enough of Rev Murphy’s help and support to make our day so special. We live in the UK and decided upon Arizona for of wedding setting as we had enjoyed previous vacations there. After an initial Google search, we spotted Heart of Sedona. Contact was easy with responses always prompt and comprehensive, full of ideas and the information required to make our day such a success. We chose a simple ceremony at Red Rock Crossing together with a photography and video package. Everything was exactly as we had hoped it would be (and more). Not only did Rev Murphy reply to every one of the many emails I sent, he was on hand two days before the wedding to run through a dress rehearsal to ensure the day ran as smoothly as possible. During the ceremony we were very impressed with the preparatory work Rev Murphy had clearly undertaken to make the service very personal to us. We would both recommend Rev Murphy without any hesitation and the services of Heart of Sedona. “I worked with Andrew and Laura on my destination wedding. Being so far away, communication was extremely important and they were both very responsive. Laura was very knowledgeable and always had great suggestions for my specific requests. I scheduled a couple of days to fly out and meet with some of the potential vendors, and Laura scheduled it all for me so that I was able to maximize my time there and get everything done. She was incredibly attentive the day of the wedding and made sure everything went off without any problems at all! She and Andrew met with us a couple of times prior to the wedding so that Andrew could craft an amazingly personalized ceremony for us. It was absolutely perfect. “Laura Marolakos was TERRIFIC!! I would HIGHLY recommend her services. We had a destination wedding in Sedona, AZ – a 2 day drive from where we live. I contacted her through her website and she was very easy to communicate with throughout the entire process. She gave me suggestions for local vendors and helped answer any questions that I had about the whole “marriage process”. She helped resolve a few issues with vendors once we arrived in town and was tremendously helpful for the rehearsal and the day of. Very calm and very punctual. A real asset for any bride!”…. We are from California so it was necessary to do all of the arrangements at a distance. He was timely and organized with email contact before our big day, and asked us to describe our relationship in advance with thoughtful questions so he could design a custom ceremony that highlighted the values and timeline of our love story. Andrew involved our parents and family traditions, as well as beautiful words to describe how we feel about each other based on our own descriptions of our relationship. My husband’s family speaks mainly Spanish, and my family only speaks English: Andrew was also able to interweave the two languages flawlessly so both families could equally enjoy and participate in our wedding ceremony. He was calm, thoughtful, and well-spoken, and made us feel very relaxed throughout the whole planning process.
